THE DETAILS:
WHEN: August 12, 2019. Volunteer shifts start as early as 9:30am and end at 2:15pm.
Shift lengths vary.
WHERE: Outside Shattuck Hall on the Park Blocks 
WHO: All PSU students, faculty, staff, and community members.


THE PROS:
You won’t feel as bad about calling in sick to your J.O.B.
It is something to do.
It will boost your resume.
Your date may be really into it.
You will feel good about yourself.
You will be doing something good for the community.
You will 100% meet really cool people. 


THE CONS:
You might get a UVs...so wear sunscreen.
It’s Oregon, so it might rain.


The Free Food Market is a partnership between PSU’s Committee for Improving Student Food
Security and the Oregon Food Bank. The market brings FREE fresh fruits, vegetables, and other
food items to PSU students and the greater PSU community. This partnership is an effort to increase
student access to healthy food options and to reduce student food insecurity.


They are still in need of volunteers to make the market a success. There are shifts throughout the
day that are approximately two hours long performing a variety of tasks.
