Vote! Everyone's doing it.

We live in a day and age where voting has both become less of a social priority, and more of a social priority. What a controversial time to be alive! Not only are we influence to think that our voting turnout count is what in fact decides the result of an election, but more individuals are losing hope over that statement laying on a true platform. All I can say about the situation is that due to such a low voter turnout of the 2016 elections, the Democrats lost office and the man our country is now trying to impeach became president. The purpose of this post is to pressure you to vote. Not only is it cool to vote, but almost everyone is doing it. Aside from these past recent years, voting is now once again becoming the social norm. Your friends are doing it, your cousins are doing it, your mom is doing it, heck even your grandpa is doing it! What if your voting status were posted to social media? Would you feel more or less obliged? One of the most dominant powers we have in society is to cast our votes, and voice our concerns for this country. Voting is how women and individuals of color came to be looked at as equal. Voting is how recreational medicine began to help those in pain, who could not afford high end medicine. Currently, the United States has one of the lowest voter turnout rates of all developed countries in the world. Let's be the change we wish to see. Let's vote!
