Gun Control - Ethan Behee

One topic at the center of a long battle in our political climate is gun control. Gun control does not intend to entirely get rid of guns and it doesn't mean that no one can own a gun. Gun control's true goal is to introduce a stronger, more intensive filtering process of who is able to obtain or own a gun. This process would include regular training and mental health checkups for a customer before they are legally permitted to own a gun.

There are those who argue that if people want a gun, they will find a way, no matter what obstacles they may face. They aren't necessarily wrong, but we should try to make it a lot more difficult to obtain a firearm. Plus, if you don't plan to hurt anyone, you're healthy, and you feel safe owning a gun, you will most likely be able to get one. The goal should be to make sure that people who are unstable are not able to get their hands on such dangerous weapons, that could easily harm themselves or others.
