Micro-Hydro Power Sources

With all of the obvious electrical resources such as solar power it can be easy to forget that there are other- just as valuable resources that can be used as a source of power.

Micro-Hydro electricity is when you divert a small portion of water to a downstream turbine. Once it has been moved, electricity is then reverted to communities via power lines.

If there is already water flow on your property then, it would be relatively easy to make a system to generate electricity. In developing nations, electricity is difficult to come by and this little trick could help bring electricity to impoverished villages and with electricity they could cook and light their houses to better sustain their way of life.
