Green Empowerment in Nicaragua

If you haven’t heard of Green Empowerment by now, you’re missing out!  This organization does praise-worthy work.  Alongside community partners from around the globe, they strive to provide basic resources (i.e. renewable energy, safe drinking water, sanitation systems etc.) in areas outside the United States that do not have access to them.

Their Vision?

“...An equitable and sustainable world where everyone has clean water, renewable energy and a healthy environment in which to grow and thrive”

Like, sounds spectacular to me!

If by some anomaly you aren’t convinced they are amazing yet, take a closer look with me at what they've achieved in the Boaco region in Nicaragua.  Supported by the Vibrant Village Foundation, they installed solar water pumping projects in El Bálasmo between 2012 and 2015.  This was so appreciated by El Bálasmo, Green Empowerment started the same work in a neighboring village called El Jazmin at the beginning of 2017. In addition, El Jazmin will receive help in education basics around the new water systems they are provided and aid in building a local honey business to increase household incomes as well. The idea of projects like these are to create community resilience.

Super cool stuff.  And this is just a small sample of their work Nicaragua and even smaller sample of their work in other countries like the Philippines, Peru, Ecuador and more.
