While perusing through the Internet, I found a recommendation from Mark Sisson (of primal living fame) of which 5 meats to avoid:
1. Cured Meats - full of nitrates which have been linked to oral, lung, stomach and brain cancers.
2. Cold Cuts - along with nitrates, they're processed and full of sodium.
3. Ground Meats - parts are parts and ground meats can come from hundreds of different parts.
4. Grain-fed Beef - Grass-fed beef is leaner and contain more Omega-3's.
5. Non-organic Meat - unless you want antibiotics and growth hormones in your meat.
