Another Downside of War...
As we all know, war brings about many horrible things. Amongst the negative things that war brings about we have destruction of infrastructure, killing of civilians, possible increase of poverty, hunger and decrease of economical abilities of countries that are involved in war. No doubt that humans suffer a great deal when they get involved in war.
Another downside of war is one that we do not hear as much. The downside that I am referring to is the damage that it causes to the environment. In an article that I found, the author talks about how in a region of Afghanistan, many acres of forest will be destroyed so that they can be replaced with military camps.
