Mobile Voting Security

Image result for mobile votingWith the recent news breaking about many states beginning to implement mobile phone voting for the upcoming 2020 elections such as Seattle, Washington, the question of cyber security arises. Larger tech companies have been trying to brainstorm ideas in which we can protect ourselves during the new age of mobile voting. They want people to feel safe when going about this new way to cast your ballot, with this new way to reach out to a younger audience and encourage them to vote we have to ensure them the safest way possible. Twitter, Google and the FBI alike are making sure we can have the most secure way of voting as possible by brainstorming possible threats and creating ways to overcome them. Attendees even discussed how "this could improve how we share information and coordinate our response to better detect and deter threats". The more secure and accessible we make the voting process the more appealing it might become for many.
