Protein on Any Budget! (Married Couple)

Our third example of Protein on Any Budget is for a married couple with no children:

Meet the Jones!
The Jones are a married couple from the Northeast.
Net Annual Income: $48,927.48 
(which is $4,077.29 per month)

Monthly Expenses: $2,900
Mortgage ($1,350); utilities ($300); car payment(s) ($350); 
insurance ($150); cell/cable/int/ect... ($450) ; gas ($300)

This leaves the Jones with $1,177.29 leftover each month.  
(This is $294.32 a week for groceries.)
